Liability Waiver & Consent — Initial Each Section
The workshop is an educational event in which participants learn basic vehicle maintenance and road-safety concepts, including hands-on demonstrations such as checking fluids, tire pressure and tire changes, and identifying dashboard warnings. The activity takes place in and around an automotive repair facility, which may involve vehicles, tools, equipment, lifted vehicles, fluids, and other shop hazards.
I understand that participation involves inherent risks, including but not limited to minor injury, slips, cuts, burns, exposure to automotive fluids, and contact with tools or equipment. I knowingly and voluntarily assume all such risks, whether known or unknown, on behalf of the Participant.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release, waive, and discharge the Released Parties from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury sustained by the Participant while attending or participating in the workshop, except to the extent caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of the Released Parties.
The Participant agrees to follow all safety instructions and staff directions at all times. The Shop reserves the right to remove any participant whose conduct is unsafe or disruptive. A parent or guardian may drop the participant off for the workshop and is also welcome to attend alongside their teen at no additional cost; attending parents do not receive their own workbook (one workbook is provided per registered teen).
In the event of an injury or emergency, I authorize the Shop to seek emergency medical treatment for the Participant if a parent/guardian cannot be immediately reached. I am responsible for any resulting medical costs.
By registering and signing this Agreement, I grant Flyin’ Wrench Motorsports permission to capture photos and video of the Participant during the event and to use them for promotional and educational purposes (social media, website, print). This consent is a required condition of participation. No participant’s full name will be published without separate permission.
I understand the $10 registration fee reserves the participant’s seat and covers the workbook, take-home kit, and refreshments, and that this fee is non-refundable.
I confirm that I have read and understand this Agreement, that I am voluntarily agreeing to its terms, and that if the Participant is under 18, I am their parent or legal guardian with authority to agree on their behalf.
How this waiver is signed. This waiver is completed online as part of registration. You digitally initial each section above to confirm you have read and agree to it, and the parent/legal guardian and the participating teen each provide a digital signature below. Submitting the signed waiver constitutes the electronic signature of each signer and agreement to these terms, as permitted under the federal E-SIGN Act and Georgia’s Uniform Electronic Transactions Act. The date, time, signer name(s), and submission details are recorded and kept on file with the registration.
By initialing each section and signing below, I/we agree this is our legal electronic signature under the federal E-SIGN Act and Georgia's UETA.
